Joaquin Correa will be one of two changes to the Nerazzurri starting eleven in today’s Serie A clash between Bologna and Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Carlos Augusto will be the other change, and otherwise Simone Inzaghi will stick with the team that faced Bayern Munich.
Inter Milan take on Bologna in Serie A this evening.
It is a hugely important match for the Nerazzurri. All the more so after Napoli beat Monza yesterday evening.
But at the same time, this evening’s match comes right on the heels of Inter’s Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Bayern Munich.
That was a hugely exhausting match for Inter. Therefore, there had been some suspicion that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi would heavily rotate his team to face Bologna.
But according to the Corriere, that will not be the case.

In attack, there is an enforced change. This is due to an injury to Inter striker Marcus Thuram.
Thuram has suffered some muscular fatigue in his thigh after the match against Bayern.
Therefore, it will be Joaquin Correa who gets the start this evening.
Marko Arnautovic is also available, but is dealing with a persistent back issue. Meanwhile, Mehdi Taremi is fit, but also not at his best.
Then, on the left flank, Carlos Augusto will come in for Federico Dimarco.
However, the Corriere report, apart from those to changes, Inzaghi will name an unchanged team.
That means that both the defensive and midfield trios will remain as they were against Bayern in midweek.
