Stijn van Gassel made six saves as the visitors held firm. NAC registered 15 attempts and hit six on target but could not find a way through.

There was an early stoppage for Noah Naujoks' injury, with Jerolldino Bergraaf coming on soon after. NAC later turned to André Ayew, Lewis Holtby and Clint Leemans from the bench, yet Moussa Soumano spurned chances in the closing stages.
