Chelsea are set to announce another incoming transfer in the next couple of days, with Jamie Gittens all but signed up to become our latest attacking reinforcement.
But while there are still a couple more attacking pieces to slot into place, there’s also a lot of work to be done on the sale side. Among those likely to leave this summer is goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic.

The Serbia international has massively improved his standing in the last couple of years, going from a relative unknown in the MLS to a strong season with Chelsea then a superb campaign with Strasbourg.
HE hasn’t gone to play at the Club World Cup, making it very clear that his future is elsewhere. And we have some exclusive information about one of the front runners for his signature.
Galatasaray are intensifying their interest, and our sources tell us they have made a loan offer of €5.5m, with a €15m buy option included, meaning the final fee (should the Turkish giants trigger it) would be €20.5m.
Chelsea want more than that – they’re happy to let Petrovic spend a year on loan if the fee is big enough, but they would prefer a full sale. They’re hoping for €30m for the final package, and are unlikely to settle for less than €25m.
For now, they can wait and see what happens – there are interested teams from all over, including RB Leipzig, Benfica, Nice and Porto. None of them are likely to be able to put down a huge sum up front, but a loan with option allows Petrovic to keep growing his value with another strong season, and gives the destination club an easy route to make him their if all goes well.
