An exclusive report has just put out two names that Chelsea are keen on signing as transfer targets in one of the next two windows.

We know that the January transfer window is often much quieter than the summer window because clubs want to keep hold of their players midway through the season and are not keen on disrupting things. However, deals do still get done, and you’d imagine that Chelsea are at the very least looking at whether they can get some deals done in the winter window, or whether they will have to wait until the summer due to opportunities and availability.

EXCLUSIVE! Premier League club make enquiry to sign Chelsea player that could lead to swap deal seeing striker going the other way!!

The centre back area is apparently a position that Chelsea want to sign in, with Fabrizio Romano actually putting out a report on that earlier this week that got tongues wagging.

Romano’s report was actually backed up by a second source. Well, now their is a THIRD source reporting Chelsea’s interest in Benfica centre back Tomas Araujo. But he’s reportedly not the only centre back they are keen on.

Chelsea like Zabarnyi

Chelsea now looking at Zabarnyi

According to a report from Football Transfers, Chelsea have shortlisted Benfica defender Tomas Araujo and Bournemouth’s Illia Zabarnyi as defensive targets.

The report claims that the Chelsea hire-achy are big fans of both players. Chelsea interest in Zabarnyi has grown and they are now at the forefront, with Enzo Maresca understood to be a fan.

The Araujo noise seems to be way more than just whispers now as more and more outlets start to report the interest. We will have to see if anything sparks up on this, but it certainly seems that Chelsea have a genuine interest in signing the player yet they are also still looking at many other options.

Zabarnyi has a long deal at Bournemouth so I think he could be tough to get.
