Footage of Jack Wilshere showing his frustration to Luton Town supporters after Burton Albion draw has emerged
Footage of Jack Wilshere being dragged away from Luton Town supporters after an altercation following their 1-1 draw at home to Burton Albion has emerged, and it doesn't make for great viewing for the former Arsenal and England midfielder.
Things at Kenilworth Road just keep seeming to go from bad to worse for the Hatters and Wilshere.
The 34-year-old took over the reins in Bedfordshire in October following the dismissal of Matt Bloomfield, in what is his first role as a head coach in senior management.
Since then, things haven't exactly gone to plan, with the Hatters finding themselves now six points off the play-off places despite being touted as one of the favourites for automatic promotion this campaign before a ball had even been kicked.
The Hatters looked set to claim all three points in their home game against Burton, only to be denied by Fabio Tavares' late header to draw the game level in the dying embers.
Luton are now winless in their last three games, having previously been defeated away to both Cardiff City and struggling side Wigan Athletic, and following Seb Stockbridge blowing the final whistle on Saturday, ugly scenes emerged on the Kenilworth Road turf.

Following the full-time whistle, Luton supporters were quick to show their frustration at their side's performance and directed a lot of the criticism towards Wilshere.
Just days before, after their 1-0 away defeat to Wigan, the former midfielder told Luton fans to direct their anger towards him, saying, "My message to them is point their anger towards me. I'm their manager and head coach and I make the decisions," which they certainly seem to have taken literally.
However, Wilshere was clearly full of frustration too, as footage of the 34-year-old having an altercation with the Hatters faithful has emerged.
In the clip, Luton fans can be heard chanting 'you are embarrassing' towards the Luton squad and Wilshere, with further expletives being directed towards them shortly after.
Whilst abuse directed either way is rarely acceptable, supporters always get a different treatment than the professionals on the pitch, which is why Wilshere losing his cool is so notable.
In the clip, the Luton boss appears to respond to abuse from the home fans with some expletives of his own, before being dragged away by some of the players and coaching staff.
It's far from a good look for Wilshere, who has since responded by saying: "First of all, I understand their frustrations, I do. I’ve said that a lot, but right now we need them, we need them. I understand their frustrations, but it’s not for a lack of the players trying.
"It’s difficult then when in the first minute there’s booing, because we’re trying to create an identity, we’re trying to create a way of playing that we want to move forward with which we’ve done really well I think."
Luton hosts in-form Plymouth Argyle in the EFL Trophy next on Tuesday before travelling to Stoke-on-Trent to face Port Vale in the league next Saturday, where Wilshere will be hoping his players can do the talking for him in those crucial fixtures.

It's been an immensely turbulent period at Luton, with the club having played in the Premier League less than two years ago, but now find themselves struggling in League One.
Whilst they don't appear to be in immediate danger of a third consecutive relegation, concerns over the current state of the club will no doubt be rife throughout the Hatters' fanbase.
Wilshere's recent outburst is indicative of everything that is currently wrong with Luton, and the exact opposite of what led them to the top flight in the first place.
Under the likes of Nathan Jones and Rob Edwards, the connection between the players, staff, and fans was imperative to their success and the catalyst that fired them to the Premier League.
Luton must ensure that this incident involving Wilshere is quickly swept under the rug before the slip continues, and the best way now to respond in the 34-year-old's case is to get some results on the pitch and have his side do the talking for him.
