Fabio Paratici leaving Tottenham for Fiorentina | OneFootball

Tottenham Hotspur sporting director Fabio Paratici will leave the club shortly after his return to join Fiorentina.

The Italian had previously worked at Juventus before joining Spurs and it was during that spell with the Serie A side that he ended up later receiving a 30-month ban from FIFA after Juve were found guilty of false accounting

Paratici did briefly return to work for Tottenham but will now leave the club to pursue a new opportunity at Fiorentina with his new role starting on February 4th.

"I have loved my time at the Club, however this opportunity, together with the need to be based in my homeland, has led me to this decision," Paratici said about the decision.

"Spurs is a club that is very close to my heart. It has great people working for it, who are as passionate about the project as I am and want to bring sustained success. I have no doubt that they will achieve that and I will be watching closely from Italy."
