Fabio Silva is not living a happy moment in Dortmund. His qualities as a striker are not in question, but his performances simply have not convinced.
And perhaps the player himself now realises he chose the wrong strategy last summer, when he put Borussia at the top of his list and refused to evaluate alternative solutions.
Including Roma, who followed him for a long time, a specific request from Gasperini, but eventually stepped aside once Dortmund pushed strongly to secure Fabio Silva.

The future of the striker is still to be written.
It would certainly be sensational if he were to change clubs only a few months after arriving in the Bundesliga, but it is not a scenario to exclude.
Roma’s position today is not a hot one, not because their opinion of Silva has changed, but because certain currents within the club did not appreciate the attitude he showed during the summer.

The next few weeks will be decisive in determining how the January transfer window will play out.
