Famalicão beat AVS 3-1 in Liga Portugal at the Estádio Municipal 22 de Junho, coming from behind to rise from eighth to sixth.

Diego Duarte struck in the 50th minute from Tomane's through ball to put the visitors ahead. Justin De Haas levelled (54.) from Antoine Joujou's set piece.

Half-time substitute Antoine Joujou then swept in the turnaround goal (63.) from Pedro Miguel Costa Santos' pass.

Umar Abubakar added a third (67.) from a Costa Santos cross, and VAR awarded the goal after review.

Adriel kept the score down with a sharp stop from Sorriso late on (85.), having earlier foiled Abubakar.

Famalicão had 65.9% possession and hit six shots on target from 14 attempts. AVS managed one on target from seven attempts.
