Vinicius Junior expressed his delight after guiding Real Madrid to 3 - 1 win over Villarreal on Saturday night .. a result that temporarily lifted Los Blancos to the top of La Liga.

Vinicius Leads the Charge

The Brazilian star was the standout performer scoring twice to secure 3 crucial point for Carlo Ancelotti’s side at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Speaking to Real Madrid TV after the game, Vinicius said:

"It was very tough match against strong team. I’m really happy to win again here at the Bernabeu"

Reflecting on his own display, he added:

"I think I played very well. I just want to keep performing like this to help the team. Our fans deserve to see great football from us"
