Brazil’s World Cup elimination has prompted a surge on social media urging Corinthians midfielder Breno Bidon to be included in the next Brazil cycle towards 2030.
The push extends beyond club supporters, with users arguing he brings control and organisation the team lack. Arsenal are monitoring his situation, according to BBC Sport.
At 21, Bidon is consolidating himself as one of Corinthians’ key players in 2026. He has started 28 of 31 matches and logged 4,549 minutes.
This is already his most prolific year, with three goals, more than the previous two seasons combined. He scored against Bahia in the Brasileiro and twice versus São Paulo, one in the league and one in the State Championship.
European interest has grown, with PSV, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona among the clubs to have tracked him in recent years.
The next transfer window opens on 20 July and runs until 11 September, and he could receive offers. Holding Italian citizenship, he would not occupy a foreign slot at several European clubs.
Bidon is under contract at Corinthians until the end of 2029, and the board see a potential sale as a way to ease finances.
