Leeds United boss Daniel Farke says goalkeeper Lucas Perri will miss the game against Fulham, while forwards Lukas Nmecha and Joel Piroe are also doubts.

Perri has a quad injury which Farke says is being assessed to determine how long he will miss.

“One thing I can confirm is that Lucas Perri is definitely out of the game,” Farke said.

“He reported after the last game that he had problems with his quad, we had a scan and there’s muscle strain and will definitely miss the next two games against Fulham and Wolves. Then after that we’ll see with more clarity when he’ll return.”

Summer signing Nmecha, who scored the winner in the victory over Everton on the opening day of the season, and Piroe have suffered knocks, meanwhile.

“Lukas Nmecha got a hit on his foot and missed training yesterday,” Farke explained. “Joel Piroe also got hit in his calf and has a big bruise. We’ll have to wait to see how he reacts in the next 48 hours.”

But Leeds could be boosted by the returns of midfielders Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu, who have returned to training following their respective injury problems.

“Both since the beginning of this week have reintegrated and joined in major parts of team training,” Farke said.

“Ethan even more so than Ao, because he was slightly ahead in terms of schedule. We have 48 more hours to take a late decision with them, it’s possible we travel with both of them, just take one or neither to Fulham.”

Sam Byram and Joe Rodon are also fit and available for the game, Farke added.

“Sam was out for a few days but both he and Joe are ready to go and available,” he said.
