Karl Etta Eyong
Cameroonian sensation Karl Etta Eyong is making waves at the start of the season, catching everyone's attention—including that of FC Barcelona.
Initially targeted by FC Barcelona last summer before eventually leaving Villarreal for Levante, Karl Etta Eyong continues to impress as the new campaign gets underway. In recent days, Barça's interest in the young Cameroonian remains strong. According to Sport, he is being considered as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski next June.
However, for the Blaugrana to seal the deal, they will first need to resolve their ongoing wage bill issues—the very same problems that prevented Eyong's signing during the previous transfer window. Additionally, Eyong's release clause has jumped from €10 million to €30 million following his move, making the task even tougher for the Barcelona outfit.
