FC Porto are level at 1-1 with Arouca at Estádio do Dragão, Djouahra striking on 70 minutes after the hosts led at half-time in the opener of round 24 of the I Liga.

Oskar Pietuszewski scored after 14 seconds, initially ruled offside, but a VAR review awarded the goal. In the 17th minute the stadium applauded Borja Sainz, absent after the death of his mother. Froholdt then hit the post before Arruabarrena saved Pietuszewski’s drive and Deniz Gul missed the rebound.

After the break Fukui clipped the bar and Trezza headed the rebound wide, then Arruabarrena denied Gabri Veiga and Deniz Gul lifted over when sent clear. Djouahra levelled when Trezza’s effort was blocked, the ball sitting up for a first-time finish that left Diogo Costa rooted.

Arouca introduced Boris Popovic for Javier Sánchez at half-time. FC Porto made a triple change on 62 minutes, bringing on Terem Moffi, William Gomes and Rodrigo Mora for Deniz Gul, Gabri Veiga and Oskar Pietuszewski. Dylan Nandin replaced Barbero on 66, Fofana came on for Pablo Rosario on 76, then Yellu Santiago Pérez and José Silva entered for Gozalbez and Mansilla on 78.

Referee Iancu Vasilica is in charge at the Dragão. Cláudio Ramos missed out with a back problem and Borja Sainz was unavailable following his bereavement.
