In a surprise move, FC Porto unveiled their 2026/27 home kit during the final round of the league.
According to O Jogo, the design pays tribute to the club’s 1980s shirts and was met with unanimity among supporters. The launch delivered the best start to sales on record, with 42.2 percent growth in the first two days compared to 2025/26.

In-store sales rose 50 percent and online orders climbed 32 percent over those first two days.
Produced once again in partnership with New Balance, the strip offers a modern take on Porto’s classic identity.
It also restores red velvet numbers, echoing the late 1980s and early 1990s aesthetic referenced in the design.
