FC Porto said in a statement that Rodrigo Mora has sustained a left thigh muscle injury and will not join Portugal for friendlies against Mexico and the United States, part of preparations for the World Cup.
The 18-year-old was replaced at half-time in the Europa League last-16 second leg against Stuttgart, which Porto won 2-0.

He had been called up by Roberto Martínez on Friday, with his involvement described as doubtful at the time.
He is now listed on Porto’s medical report and will be monitored by the club’s medical department.
Mora was seeking a first senior cap for Portugal.
