Sport BILD reports that FC Porto have joined the chase for VfL Wolfsburg striker Dženan Pejčinović, with an offer of €23 million swiftly turned down for the 21-year-old.
Porto are not backing away and believe they still have a chance to land the forward, despite rival interest from VfB Stuttgart.

Stuttgart's opening bid, a package worth €18 million lodged two weeks ago, was unsuccessful.
The relegated Bundesliga club are seeking a €25 million fee for the Germany under-21 international.
Stuttgart are prepared to return with a proposal totalling €22 million, although that is still expected to fall short of Wolfsburg's valuation. Porto's pursuit could push the price higher, yet Pejčinović remains determined to join Stuttgart.
