The Serie A powerhouses, and especially Juventus, aren’t the only teams monitoring Davide Frattesi, as Fenerbahce have joined the race for the midfielder, who’s eager to depart, Mediaset informs.

The Nerazzurri are open for business. President Giuseppe Marotta stated that they wouldn’t hold onto unhappy players. However, they ask for €30/35M, which would foot their signings in other roles.

Fenerbahce could potentially reach such a threshold, likely via a loan with an obligation to buy, but they need to convince Frattesi, who prefers Juventus or other destinations, Matteo Moretto reports (via SOSFanta).

At this stage, there’s nothing more than the Bianconeri showing interest, which is reciprocated, after his agent started offering him to other sides. Luciano Spalletti is a fan. However, they won’t include Khephren Thuram in the package.

According to Sky, the two clubs could rope in another player, Tarik Muharemovic, who’s in the Nerazzurri and Bournemouth’s crosshairs. The Old Lady will pocket 50 percent of his sale and could facilitate his transfer to San Siro in exchange for the Italian midfielder. The deal would obviously need to go through Sassuolo, which want to keep their cornerstones in January.

Our Take on Frattesi, Juventus, and Fenerbahce

Provided he’s in good shape and engaged, which has rarely been the case this season, he’d be at worst a nice deputy no.10, filling a void, in the Tuscan boss’ system. He had some success there with Italy. The main problem is that La Beneamata will want more than cash to send him to a rival, and he might fetch richer offers from abroad. The inclusion of Muharemovic would make sense, but it’s not a straight swap and won’t be easy to devise.
