Fernandez Gets 7.5, Garnacho With 6 | Chelsea Players Rated In Narrow Win Vs West Ham United

Chelsea welcomed West Ham United at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the seventh minute when Jarrod Bowen found the back of the net. Crysencio Summerville doubled his team’s advantage in the 36th minute as Liam Rosenior’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Joao Pedro got a goal back for the home side in the 57th minute before Marc Cucurella equalised for the Blues in the 70th minute. Enzo Fernandez scored the winning goal in injury time. Jean-Clair Todibo was sent off by the referee soon after as the contest finished with Chelsea securing a narrow 3-2 win at Stamford Bridge.

Sanchez made a few solid saves at the back but conceding twice this evening.

He made one crucial clearance inside his half and engineered some decent chances in the final third.

Chalobah performed his defensive responsibilities well and was tidy with his passing.

He did his fair share of defending and was a strong presence in the air.

LB: Jorell Hato – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times in the first half and was replaced at half-time.
CM: Enzo Fernandez – 7.5/10
Fernandez made a positive impact at both ends of the pitch. He did well to score the winning goal in injury time.
CM: Moises Caicedo – 6.5/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and was not shy of having a strike at goal.
RW: Jamie Gittens – 6/10
Gittens made a slow start to the game and was replaced in the 25th minute.
CAM: Cole Palmer – 6/10
He was not shy of having a strike at goal but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
LW: Alejandro Garnacho – 6/10
Garnacho made one good chance in the final third and was replaced in the 45th minute.
ST: Liam Delap – 7/10
He was a real handful for the opposition defenders, but failed to register a goal today.
