Fernando Diniz has been charged by the STJD and could be suspended for up to three matches.

According to Meu Timao, the case stems from the goalless draw with Athletico-PR at Neo Química Arena on Thursday, in the 21st round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Diniz was cited under Article 250 of the CBJD, which covers unfair or hostile conduct during a match. The complaint follows him slapping the hand of Athletico Paranaense midfielder Jadson amid a first-half confrontation. He was shown a yellow card for the incident.

Referee Paulo Cesar Zanovelli wrote in his report that the caution was for showing disrespect to the game and for shoving an opponent while the ball was out of play.

The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, 4 August, at 10:00. If found guilty, he would serve the suspension from the next league round against Red Bull Bragantino on Sunday, 9 August, in Bragança Paulista. Until then, Diniz remains in the dugout.
