According to O Jogo, Domingos Andrade is close to joining Botafogo on a three-year contract, but the move can only be confirmed once the club resolves FIFA transfer bans that currently prevent it from registering signings.
A fee of around two million euros, including variables, is envisaged for FC Porto. Some matters have already been addressed as part of a judicial recovery process, though final approval remains pending.
The 23-year-old midfielder has featured for Porto’s B team, making 58 appearances across two seasons and drawing attention in Angola.
He has been negotiating with Botafogo, who are coached by Portuguese Franclim Carvalho, previously assistant to Artur Jorge during the club’s perfect year.
A former Sporting academy player, Andrade joined Porto from Felgueiras and now seeks a fresh push in his career in the high-profile Brasileirão.
