Flamengo resumed training on Thursday morning after the draw with Internacional in the Brasileirão, with Filipe Luís including midfielder Rafael Henrique.
According to Coluna Do Fla, the 2008-born midfielder, known as Rafinha, worked with the group who did not play or only featured late on in Wednesday's match at the Maracanã.
Other academy players also take part in senior training, giving youngsters exposure to the professional environment.
Rafinha joined Flamengo in 2023, aged 15, from Ferroviária, where he was the number 10 and regarded as a standout.
In 2026, he will move from the under-17s to the under-20s under Bruno Pivetti. He is not on Flamengo's squad list for the Under-20 Libertadores, but Pivetti will have him available during the season, which includes the Brasileirão, the Carioca and the Copa Rio.
The senior side face Sampaio Corrêa on Saturday 7, in the final round of the Carioca. Flamengo must win and hope Madureira, Nova Iguaçu and Boavista drop points. Kick-off is 21:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã.
