Fiorentina confirm changes to Conference League squad list: Seven players out | OneFootball

Fiorentina have made wholesale changes to their UEFA squad for the remainder of the Conference League campaign, bringing in the maximum of three new players, while seven have dropped out of Raffaele Palladino’s roster.

Teams are allowed up to 25 players on their ‘A’ lists, two of whom must be goalkeepers and eight of whom must be locally trained. Players born after June 1, 2003, and who played for the club for an uninterrupted period of two years as a youth player are also allowed to be included on the ‘B’ list. Pietro Comuzzo is Fiorentina’s go-to example here.

Midway through the campaign, teams are able to register three new players to their squads, as long as three are also removed.

Fiorentina were one of the busier Serie A sides in the January transfer window, welcoming Pablo Mari, Michael Folorunsho, Nicolo Fagioli, Cher Ndour and Nicolo Zaniolo. La Viola also parted company with Oliver Christensen, Lucas Martinez Quarta, Michael Kayode, Cristiano Biraghi, Jonathan Ikone, Christian Kouame and Riccardo Sottil.

Though the club signed five players in January, they were only able to register three of them to their UEFA squad for the rest of the 2024-25 season.

B List: Martinelli, Comuzzo, Baroncelli, Kouadio, Harder, Braschi, Caprini, Rubino.
