Corriere dello Sport reports that Fiorentina are not looking to trigger Jack Harrison’s £6m right to buy, which would see the winger return to Leeds this summer.
Harrison joined on a six-month loan in January after a sparse first half at Elland Road. He started only once in the Premier League, a 1-0 loss at Burnley, and made 10 cameos without a goal or assist.
The 29-year-old has 13 appearances and seven starts across competitions. He is yet to score, with one assistant in a 2-2 draw against Torino.
Daniel Farke said he would have preferred to keep Harrison given few wing-back options, but accepted the move due to the player’s lack of minutes.
The report adds Fiorentina are still fighting to stay up, two places and two points above Lecce in the third relegation spot with eight games left. Survival would automatically trigger clauses worth about €27m, tightening the budget and forcing a decision on Harrison and fellow loanee Manor Solomon.
Solomon, a 2024/25 Championship title-winner, could join for around £8.7m and has two goals in 11. The report suggests he is the preferred option if fitness concerns clear.
Harrison has two years left on his Leeds contract. He was replaced in the squad by Facundo Buonanotte, who cut short his Chelsea loan to join temporarily, but the Argentinian has barely featured and often missed matchday squads in a difficult 2025/26.
