Fiorentina remain interested in Dovbyk as Kean alternative | OneFootball

Fiorentina is already considering its next transfer market moves and evaluating possible solutions to strengthen its attack.

The future of the Viola attack will depend primarily on Moise Kean, who could leave Florence for an offer close to €40 million.

Compared to last summer, the Tuscan club is more confident about the striker’s possible departure. Kean, in fact, is coming off a decidedly less impressive season than the 2024/25 season, in which he scored a total of 25 goals across league and cup competitions.

As reported in today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, should the striker move to Como or another interested club, Fiorentina could turn its attention to Artem Dovbyk.

The Ukrainian striker is considered on his way out of Roma and could be sold permanently for a fee under €20 million, with the Giallorossi also prepared to record a small capital loss.

His salary of approximately €3.5 million represents a significant investment, but remains lower than the €4.5 million Kean earns, although the latter is eligible for the Growth Decree.

Dovbyk, 29, comes from a season that ended with just three goals and could seek a revival under the guidance of Fabio Grosso, returning to the levels shown at Girona, where he reached 24 goals.
