Flaco López and Vitor Roque briefly reunited in Palmeiras’ attack during the 4-0 win away to Vitória at Barradão, in the last round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, reopening their contest for places under Abel Ferreira.

According to Nosso Palestra, the pair come together at different moments. Vitor Roque has only just returned from injury, while Flaco López is back after Argentina duty at the 2026 World Cup.

Their understanding first clicked a year ago. Days after a Copa do Brasil round of 16 exit to Corinthians, Abel paired them in the second half against Ceará in the league on 10 August 2025.

Palmeiras came from behind to win 2-1, with both on the scoresheet. Flaco equalised from the spot, and Vitor Roque hit the winner soon after.
