Flamengo agree €42m deal with West Ham to sign Lucas Paquetá | OneFootball

According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo have reached agreement with West Ham to sign Lucas Paquetá for €42m after increasing their offer by a further million euros to secure longer payment terms. West Ham accepted the terms and Paquetá will travel to Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday 28.

The fee moves from €41m to €42m, about R$260m. Final details centred on the payment schedule.

In recent weeks Paquetá reported physical issues at West Ham, so he might need time to regain condition before making his debut.

Despite that, the intention is for him to be available for the Supercopa Rei against Corinthians this Sunday at Mané Garrincha in Brasília.

While the transfer progresses, Flamengo visit São Paulo at Morumbi on Wednesday night in the Brasileirão opener, with kick off at 21:30 Brasília time.
