Flamengo face Palmeiras on Saturday in a top-of-the-table Brasileirão meeting widely billed as an early final. According to Coluna Do Fla, the Rio club will be without three players and have three one booking from suspension.
Arrascaeta remains out as he recovers from surgery to repair a collarbone fracture while with Uruguay. Danilo is suspended after his red card against Athletico-PR. Everton Cebolinha is sidelined with a hip injury.
Erick Pulgar has said he will be available to Leonardo Jardim after overcoming a shoulder problem, returning after more than a month out. Plata should also bolster the squad after treatment on a knee trauma.
Varela, Léo Pereira and Samuel Lino are on two yellow cards, so another booking would rule them out against Coritiba.
Varela and Léo Pereira are also expected to miss the Coritiba match on 30 May, as they will be on duty with Uruguay and Brazil respectively.
The 17th-round fixture at the Maracanã on Saturday 23 May kicks off at 21:00 Brasília time, live on Premiere pay-per-view. Palmeiras lead on 35 points, with Flamengo second on 31, and a home win would cut the gap to one with a game in hand.
