Flamengo will face Vitória in the Copa do Brasil fifth phase after Monday's draw. The federation confirmed the tie for the 2026 competition.

Vitória reacted on social media soon after, stating that their Copa do Brasil 2026 tie will be against Flamengo, and sharing a photo of the squad gathered on the pitch.

The draw also set the order of venues. Flamengo play away first in April, then host the return at the Maracanã in May.

It will be the fourth Copa do Brasil meeting between the sides. Vitória knocked Flamengo out in 1998, while the Rio club advanced in 2003 and 2004.

The remaining fifth-phase fixtures were also drawn, with eight teams to progress to the next round of the national knockout.
