Fresh from winning their 40th Carioca title, Flamengo turn to the Brasileirão and face Cruzeiro in the fifth round on Wednesday 11, with two confirmed absentees.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Bruno Henrique remains out with pubalgia and Saúl is sidelined after heel surgery early in the season. The club had initially hoped Bruno Henrique might return, but as of training on Tuesday 10 he had not been cleared by the medical department.

Flamengo are scheduled to train at 11:00, Brasília time, at Ninho do Urubu.

The match will be shown live on Rede Globo, free-to-air, with Luis Roberto on play-by-play, alongside Maestro Junior and Roger Flores. GETV on YouTube and Premiere will also carry the game via pay-per-view.

Flamengo are the reigning Brazilian champions, and in the 2026 campaign they have four points to date. Palmeiras lead the standings on 10.
