Flamengo have invited Mbappé to attend a Copa Libertadores match after he joked about needing an invite from Vini Jr, posting an image of a shirt carrying the Frenchman’s name.
According to Globo.com, the exchange followed a quip that supporters have already seen him at World Cups and in the Champions League, but not in the Libertadores. Mbappé replied that he is waiting for an invitation from his Real Madrid team-mate.

He added that anything could happen and that he would ask Vini if he could go to a Flamengo game in the competition.
On Thursday, the club highlighted their first home fixture in the competition, which is on 16 April against Independiente Medellín.
The post kept a playful tone, asking whether Vini Jr and Mbappé were heading to the Maraca.
