Royal, Ortiz and Allan received the lowest marks as Flamengo lost to Fluminense at the Maracanã, with Cebolinha the standout, according to Globo.com.
Debutant goalkeeper Andrew saved early from Serna on a sodden pitch, later erred with his feet. He was not blamed for the goals conceded.
Ortiz was off colour, a loose pass launched the move for Serna’s opener. Royal’s mistake gave John Kennedy Fluminense’s second. Vitão was steady and joined the attack for Cebolinha’s goal.
Alex Sandro lacked sharpness and Varela struggled at left-back. Evertton Araújo was quiet, while Allan risked a red for an early foul on Canobbio then gave away possession for a Lima effort. Pulgar improved the passing after the break and made a vital recovery late on.
Carrascal had a fine finish ruled out for offside and Luiz Araújo’s set pieces failed to ignite. Pedro linked play, headed one chance wide and supplied Carrascal for the disallowed strike. Plata had one attempt, Bruno Henrique pressed without effect and Samuel Lino missed a clear chance from a corner.
Coach Filipe Luís rotated again with two holding midfielders, individual errors led to both goals and he found no solution.
