Fluminense announce two signings before Flamengo final | OneFootball

Fluminense have announced the signings of Julián Millán and Rodrigo Castillo ahead of the Campeonato Carioca final against Flamengo.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the arrivals were confirmed on Tuesday 3. Millán joins from Nacional of Uruguay, while Castillo comes from Lanús of Argentina, and both are expected to be available for the decider.

Castillo is a familiar name for Flamengo supporters, having scored twice for Lanús in the Recopa Sudamericana final. The first came in Argentina, when he rose between Léo Ortiz and Léo Pereira to head in.

The second arrived at the Maracanã after a major error involving Ayrton Lucas and Agustín Rossi. Those strikes proved decisive, as Lanús lifted the Recopa in extra time after a 2-2 aggregate draw.

Flamengo could also have an off-field boost, as they are very close to announcing Leonardo Jardim as head coach following the dismissal of Filipe Luís. The clássico is scheduled for Sunday at 18:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã, with Globo, GE TV on YouTube, SporTV and Premiere set to broadcast.
