Our brilliant Academy graduate Phil Foden continues to set new standards for City in the Premier League.
Our No.47 will become the youngest City player to reach 200 Premier League appearances in today’s home clash with Bournemouth.
He arrives at the tally at the age of 25 years and 158 days beating the previous record holder Raheem Sterling at 26 years and 284 days.
Foden is already one of our most decorated players ever, having won 18 major trophies since making his senior debut in November 2017.
That haul includes six Premier League titles, with only five players ever winning the top-flight in the modern era more than him.
He’s also one of just 20 men to net at least 100 goals for the Club across all competitions, with 62 coming in the league.
His finest campaign to date came in 2023/24, when he won the Premier League Player of the Season, FWA Footballer of the Year and PFA Player of the Year awards.
He scored 27 times and provided 13 assists in 53 appearances as we won our record breaking fourth title in a row.
After a difficult campaign last time out, he appears to be enjoying his football again in 2025/26.
Congratulations to Phil on this milestone!
