Folarin Balogun responds to Monaco exit rumours | OneFootball

Folarin Balogun (24) is heading into the FIFA World Cup with plenty of confidence thanks to a strong season at AS Monaco. The USMNT forward has netted 19 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions. He will hope to carry that form into what is a home World Cup.

Recently, the former Arsenal forward has been linked with an exit from Monaco. As per a report from L’Équipe, a return to the Premier League could be on the cards. Speaking in a press conference attended by Get French Football News, Balogun broached the topic of his future. 

“I think the most important thing for me is just to focus on the game against Strasbourg. And then, after, of course, as you said, I have the World Cup, and then we’ll see what happens after the World Cup. But I don’t have any information or any news on that now. I just try to stay focused for the rest of the season,” he said.
