Forest out of the drop zone after goalless draw with Fulham | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest are out of the bottom three after a goalless draw at home to Fulham in which Dan Ndoye had a goal disallowed.

Neither of these two teams came into this game with much form or confidence. Vítor Pereira's side can't buy a win right now while Fulham hadn't scored in any of their last two games which included them being dumped out of the FA Cup by Championship side Southampton.

That lack of quality certainly transferred onto the pitch with Elliot Anderson the only player who was likely to spark anything in a fairly dreary first 45 minutes.

Pereira brought Ndoye on at half-time and with just over an hour on the clock it looked like he had given his side the lead.

Ndoye received a pass over the top form Neco Williams before finishing well past Bernd Leno. However, the Forest man was offside by just a matter of inches as Fulham breathed a collective sigh of relief.

That misery was almost compounded soon after when Ola Aina was needed to keep Rodrigo Muniz's effort out.

In the end, a point a piece was probably a fair result considering the display from both sides. Forest though must be feeling like a much-needed win is coming soon.
