Former Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar is ready to return to Serie A as Juventus look to close a deal to sign him from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, and via FCInterNews.it, Slovakia international Skriniar has been approached by Juventus with a view to replacing long-term injury absentees Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal.
Skriniar is out of the picture at PSG and has made little impact in Ligue 1 since a controversial departure in January 2023, amidst anger from Inter fans at the manner of his exit.
The former Sampdoria defender is likely to further incur the wrath of Nerazzurri supporters should he move to Juventus, and Skriniar has given the green light to a move to the Allianz Stadium.
Whilst PSG would be keen to offload the 29-year-old on a permanent deal, it is reported that the French club would be willing to loan him out with a view to a concrete transfer in order to get his wages off their books.
Skriniar has also attracted attention from clubs in the Premier League and the Bundesliga, prompting Juventus to move quickly in an effort to land his signature.
