Whilst the summer transfer window is now shut, there are still some free agents available for Serie A clubs to sign – with former Juventus and Inter players amongst the picks of the bunch.
In a list on their website, Sky Italia compiled the most expensive free agents that are still available.
Valued at €18 million, former Arsenal and Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu is considered the most valuable – after he had his contract with the Gunners terminated earlier in the summer, bringing an end to an injury-marred spell in North London.

Former Inter players Diego Laxalt, Yann Karamoh and Christian Eriksen are all available on free transfers.
Laxalt also played for Milan, with more Rossoneri alumni such as Giacomo Bonaventura and Tiemoue Bakayoko also on the search for a new club.

Former Juventus man Miralem Pjanic is without a club, as too are familiar Serie A faces like Stefano Sensi, Lorenzo Insigne and Simone Verdi.
Other former Serie A players on the list include: Alessio Cragno, Gerard Deulofeu, Mario Rui, Rui Patricio, Darko Lazovic, Mattia De Sciglio, Viktor Kovalenko, Koffi Djidji and Isaac Success.
