Michael Carrick has chosen to drop Benjamin Sesko in favour of Bryan Mbeumo, and Manchester United could have used the Slovenian International in the first half.
The likes of Matheus Cunha and Diogo Dalot have managed to create two sumptuous opportunities with crosses in the first half, but Mbeumo’s poor positioning meant that Manchester United never really made the most of those chances.

Former Manchester United star Dion Dublin believes that Sesko would have definitely made the most of those opportunities, and his striker role would have allowed Manchester United to exploit them.
Dion Dublin said to the BBC: “Bryan Mbeumo is taking up different positions to what Benjamin Sesko would. The cross from Matheus Cunha and Diogo Dalot, Sesko would definitely have got on the end of it.”
It will be interesting to see if Carrick decides to bring on the striker in the second half. Manchester United need a number nine in the box, given the way they have played so far, and Sesko could make a big difference in the second half.
