Wolves fell to a 3-0 loss at the Amex, piling more pressure on Rob Edwards after a lifeless display.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the hosts struck after 35 seconds, then again in the fifth minute, and threatened to add further goals before half-time.
Wolves’ defending for both early goals was embarrassing, and their first-half xG registered at zero. Chants against Fosun began after the second, before travelling fans turned to songs about past managers and players including Nuno Espirito Santo, Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez and Joao Moutinho.
Boos greeted the interval. The visitors improved after the restart as Yerson Mosquera and Hwang Hee-chan went close, yet one of those chances had to be taken.
A late third sealed Brighton’s win. Adam Armstrong was quiet and the substitutes offered little. Full-time brought more boos.
Before kick-off, Joao Gomes handed his training jacket to the only Wolves mascot. It was a small gesture that underlined his character, despite him being likely to leave this summer. The away end still travelled in numbers.
