France qualify for World Cup 2026, Norway close to joining

The UEFA Qualifiers continue, with the top European national teams battling for a spot in the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Today's matches featured several key players. France qualified for the World Cup after thrashing Ukraine 4-0, while Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal, with Ronaldo sent off for an elbow, will have to wait after losing 2-0 to Ireland. Norway is also just one step away from the World Cup, led by Erling Haaland.

Ireland surprised everyone by defeating Portugal 2-0 at Dublin's Aviva Stadium in Group F. Andorra lost 1-0 to Albania at the FAF Stadium in Encamp for Group K. Kristjan Asllani scored the only goal of the match.
England defeated Serbia 2-0 at Wembley Stadium in London for Group K, with goals from Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze, both Arsenal players.
