Serie A side Milan have been dealing with the uncertainty surrounding the future of midfielder of Adrien Rabiot but the France star’s exit from the San Siro looks unlikely.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported in detail about the midfielder, clarifying that Napoli have indeed explored the idea of a move. But Milan and Gerry Cardinale do not want to sell him and strengthen a possible rival.
They feel Rabiot will still be a crucial player and will have a role to play under Ruben Amorim next season. Rabiot also shares the same stance and isn’t keen on leaving the San Siro either.
Yesterday, his mother Veronique had lunch with the player in Boston. Didier Deschamps’s men had half a day off, and the Rabiot family gathered at a French restaurant. It was an opportunity to discuss the future, even though the midfielder has publicly made it clear he won’t make any decisions until he returns from the United States.
Rabiot currently has no intention of breaking away from the club. He has a significant contract, which expires in 2028.
