Striker Marcus Thuram is finally back in full training ahead of tomorrow’s crunch Serie A clash between Napoli and Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Thuram will start the match alongside Lautaro Martinez.

Inter Milan have been waiting a couple of weeks for Marcus Thuram to return.

The Nerazzurri have had to be patient. The Frenchman has not been rushing back after sustaining an ankle knock in a Serie A clash with Fiorentina earlier this month.

Thuram had managed to play as a substitute in a match against Juventus.

However, the 27-year-old was blatantly not at full fitness in that match. Therefore, he has sat out matches against Genoa in Serie A and Lazio in the Coppa Italia.

But over the last few days, Marcus Thuram has gradually made his return to training.

The former Borussia Monchengladbach striker has shaken off his ankle problem. And over the last week he has started to get involved in training.

And yesterday, Thuram completed a full training session with the rest of the Inter squad.

Therefore, there are no longer any doubts about the 27-year-old’s condition.

Thuram is ready to start against Napoli in tomorrow’s top-of-the-table Serie A showdown.

Therefore, the first-choice strike partnership of Lautaro Martinez and Thuram will make its first appearance since the match against Fiorentina a few weeks ago.
