Frankfurt's Matanovic catching the eye at Gladbach

Borussia Mönchengladbach are seriously interested in Igor Matanovic, according to journalist Christopher Michel.

The Fußball Transfers reporter is informed that Gladbach would initially prefer a loan deal for the striker.

Head coach Gerardo Seoane is believed to be excited by the German-born Croatian who is still a raw talent at just 22-years-old.

Matanovic made 25 appearances for Dino Toppmöller's side last season and was impressive despite just 2 goals in that time.
