Davide Frattesi’s Inter career appears to be drawing to a close, with the midfielder increasingly marginalised at San Siro and Juventus and Roma among the Serie A sides monitoring his situation.

According to calciomercato.it, Frattesi is no longer a fixed part of Cristian Chivu’s plans and could leave in the coming weeks in search of the regular football he craves.

Inter would want around €30m for the 1999-born midfielder, and while there are no concrete offers on the table as yet, interested clubs are not in short supply.

Chief among the foreign suitors is Nottingham Forest, who have pursued Frattesi across the last couple of transfer windows, coming close in January before returning to the chase, and see him as a quality addition to the midfield.

The player’s own preference, however, has consistently been to stay in Italy.

Juventus and Roma weigh moves for Inter’s Frattesi

That opens the door to a domestic move. Roma, in particular, could revisit their interest in bringing the Rome-born midfielder back to the capital, especially if Manu Koné departs, with Frattesi potentially figuring in wider negotiations between the clubs, given Inter’s own admiration for the France international.

Juventus, too, cannot be discounted.

The Bianconeri have a long-standing appreciation of Frattesi through chief executive Giovanni Carnevali, who first signed him for Sassuolo from Roma’s youth ranks, and coach Luciano Spalletti, who trusted him during his time in charge of the Italy national team.

That pull of two footballing father figures makes Turin a genuinely tempting destination.
