Anyone named Jude can ride the Stourbridge Shuttle free this week, with West Midlands Railway covering trips between Stourbridge Junction and Stourbridge Town.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the promotion runs from Monday 13 July to Sunday 19 July, the day of the World Cup final.
The gesture celebrates England’s quarter-final victory over Norway and the exploits of Jude Bellingham, the 23-year-old Stourbridge-born midfielder who played for junior sides locally.
Bellingham has scored six goals at the 2026 World Cup so far, including two in the quarter-final on Saturday 11 July.
Passengers with the forename Jude and valid ID can claim the free fare on services linking the two stations as the tournament reaches its closing stages.
