Bookmakers have issued a fresh call on Leeds United in their predicted final 2026-27 Premier League table, with the new season six weeks away.

Leeds and Sunderland are preparing for their second seasons back in the top flight, having avoided the immediate drop, unlike Burnley.

The Clarets, Wolves and West Ham are now heading for the Championship. Coventry City, last season’s champions, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City are coming up.

Leeds finished 14th and eight points clear of the drop in their first season back. They ended two points behind Everton and Newcastle United, two ahead of Crystal Palace, three clear of Nottingham Forest and six clear of fourth-bottom Tottenham Hotspur, who survived on a dramatic final day.

Chairman Paraag Marathe has warned that second seasons can often prove more difficult. Sunderland face the same scenario and also have Europa League football after last season’s brilliant seventh-placed finish. The latest odds underpin the new predicted table, which sets out the projected standings in reverse order.
