Roma is looking for reinforcements for their defence.
The club’s efforts are focusing on attack, but Gian Piero Gasperini is demanding a centre-back.
Frederic Massara has several names in his sights, and Denis Vavro is a potential prospect from Germany.
The Slovakian centre-back, born in 1996, previously played at Lazio, where he failed to shine.
After returning to Copenhagen, he joined Wolfsburg in Germany, where he has made 25 appearances since 2024.
He also made 11 appearances in La Liga for Huesca, where he played in 2021. However, his season in Spain ended in relegation.
According to Wolfsburger Allgemeine, Vavro has landed on Frederic Massara’s radar and could represent a low-cost opportunity.
Currently, the top choices are Radu Dragusin and Axel Disasi, but the Slovakian’s contract expires in 2027.
