It's been a sobering night for Tottenham in Istanbul as Galatasaray and Victor Osimhen have run riot in their Europa League clash.

Perhaps no player's night sums up their struggles more than young striker Will Lankshear, who equalised in the first half before seeing red in the second half.

The 19-year-old was handed a start by Ange Postecoglou alongside Archie Gray, as the Spurs boss continued to use the competition to blood youngsters.

And after 18 minutes, it seemed as if the cauldron of noise generated by the Gala fans had not fazed the striker, who tapped home an equaliser from close range after excellent work from Gray and Brennan Johnson.

However, as Spurs toiled and fell foul to Osimhen, who scored twice before the break, Lankshear looked an increasingly isolated and frustrated figure.

Having already been booked, he showed his inexperience by desperately trying to win the ball back in the second half, and was sent an early bath.

A mixed night for the player, but despite that, he is still showing serious promise!
