Fujino stars as Japan win second game at SheBelieves Cup | OneFootball

Aoba Fujino played 88 minutes as Japan thrashed Colombia 4-1 to make it two wins from two of the 2025 SheBelieves Cup.

Backing up the 4-0 victory over Australia a few days ago, Japan dominated against the South American nation in Arizona.

21-year-old Fujino played on the right of the front three as striker Mina Tanaka scored a brace and Momoko Tanikawa and Maika Hamono got one each.

Fujino's City team-mates Ayaka Yamashita and Yui Hasegawa remained on the bench throughout.

The result sets up a decider against the United States in the final round of fixtures after the USWNT beat Mary Fowler's Australia in the later game on Sunday.

Fowler was on the pitch for 64 minutes as they lost 2-1 against the tournament hosts.

Australia will now play Colombia at 00:30 (UK) before Japan and USA meet at 03:30 (UK) - with both matches to be played in San Diego.
