Fulham and Zenit ‘to rival’ Flamengo for Botafogo midfielder Danilo | OneFootball

Flamengo have added Botafogo midfielder Danilo to their July shortlist, but face competition from Fulham and Zenit. The player will leave Botafogo in the upcoming window.

GE reports that Fulham are considering 22 million euros plus 8 million in bonuses, while Zenit have proposed 25 million euros fixed.

Palmeiras have signalled interest but have not submitted a bid, and are prepared to match similar figures.

Flamengo have informed Botafogo they intend to submit an official offer when the window opens on 20 July, with numbers close to the European proposals. Botafogo gave a positive initial response.

Danilo wants a move to Europe with the World Cup in mind, while Botafogo are seeking funds to address debts. In the meantime, Flamengo visit Estudiantes on Wednesday at 21:30 Brasília time in the Copa Libertadores third round.
